The Norden scholarship, Norden seminar and other forms of cooperation have contributed to innovation and synergetic development of both sides. He believes that China has become Norden's largest market and also the world's largest dry cargo market. He appreciated the contribution made by SMU in the cultivation of shipping talents and expected more SMU graduates  to do their best for shipping industry.

Mr. Shi Xin and Mr. Jensen jointly issued certificates and awards to the prize winners. 5 students won the 2019 Norden Scholarship and 2 teachers got the 2019 Norden Best Teacher Award.
